How do I delete all the user accounts?

Hi all
N00b to the forums, but fairly experienced Mac user here.
Basically, I'm going to sell my iBook to a friend soon enough, and what I want to do is do a fresh install, update everything (eg 10.4.6 from my 10.4.0 install disc) and then still have it set up so that when she turns it on it'll go through the user setup process as if I hadn't set up a temporary account for updating at all.
I'd imagine it'd be as simple as deleting all the accounts, including admin, but I don't know how to do that. Some form of sudo command maybe?
Thanks in advance.
Tom.

It's not as simple as that. What you _can_ do is simply install to the factory state (without the updates to 10.4.6, but you can deliver those on a CD-R for example...), which'll let her set up her user if you don't go past those installation screens (just shut the iBook down at that point...).

Once set up, you cannot delete the last (admin) user. You _could_ set up one user (admin) with her first name, give it an easy password and show her how to change that once she has the computer.

Hum. bit of a shame. Just wanted her to have the exciting 'first set-up' experience, without having a barebones system. Oh well, thanks anyway!

I installed a "fresh" as in *NEW* Tiger installation for my friend, who provided me with his Tiger DVD. The problem with his Flower Power iMac G3 was that his 2-year old son saw daddy loading CDs into the slot loading CD drive. When daddy wasn't around, little son forced several CDs into the iMac CD drive without the power on. Well, 'nuff said, the slot loading CD drive is toast, the Tiger installation was corrupted from a bad update to 10.4.6, and the only option he had was having me install it in TARGET DISK MODE. Tiger 10.4.0 was installed, then the combo update applied to a *VIRGIN* disk that was never booted. When My buddy turned on his flower Power iMac G3, 10.4.6 was there.

As already stated, you could just install whatever version of Tiger you have, then when it restarts after the install, simply pull the power plug or hold down the power button on the computer for a few seconds until it shuts down. This is not what you really want to do, but it will work.

The method of installing Tiger on the machine while in Target Disk mode is a much better option, but obviously will only work if you have a second Mac to use with the process.
