how do I edit 2 .mov files?

Quicktime is for playing movies
Quicktime pro is for EDITING movies. You can cut copy paste resize, blah blah blah.
There is a huge difference and it's only 30 bucks.
 
Well. To me it wouldn't be "just 30 bucks". That's not cheap, at least not in my opinion.

I'm just more of the GNU/freeware/open source, person I believe.
