how do I install a creative soundblaster on a mac g4 dual processor?I have tiger, and tiger compatible cubase se. in cubase it recognizes something is at usb1, it doesn't know what it is. in Itunes I get no audio from the soundblaster. I read a customer review that creative soundblaster does work on mac, but the installer is pc. Thanks for any help.-Walter
 
Check Creative's site for Mac OS X drivers. If it does support the Mac OS, it should have come with a CD with Mac OS X drivers (albeit a bit dated though).
 
so, I checked the creative forum and I don't think there are any drivers available for mac, but some creative devices will work on mac.from what I learned, I opened the applications folder:utilities;audio midi setup;audio devices, set default output to usb audio, set properties for:usb audio, and checked the thru box. I can now hear Itunes thru the creative soundblaster. Cubase se still doesn't recognize it.-W
