How do i put an application on start up items

I am running MacOX 10.1.5

can some body tell me how i can put my IP Monitor utility on the start up items without having to launch the application all the time after a reboot ??

This Utility is great as it gives me my IP address without having to enter the Network pref window.

in system prefs under the login panel you can select it there to load at startup.

..Or you could just put it in the Dock, couldn't you?

Donmumin could put it in the doc, but that wouldn't launch it at startup RPS.
