How do I Return to Entourage???

OK, I've been using mail since it came out and I must say that I like Entourage better. I don't like having to 3 separate applications for Calendar, Mail and Address Book. And Entourage's built in dictionairy is much more convenient then Sherlock's (also it's much easier to find a word you can't spell!)

Now I'd like to return to Entourage but I need to bring all my Mail messages with me. This was no problem going from Entourage to Mail, but does anyone know how to get them back into Entourage? Contacts are not an issue, as they easily drag & drop. As far as calendar goes, I can reenter the few appointments I have, no biggie there either. But what about Mail messages, am I stuck here in Mail forever???
 
Nope, you're not trapped. Just drag you mail folders to the desktop and it will create .mbox backups which can be imported into Entourage.

btw, this is probably the wrong forum for this.
 
I tried this, Mail exports the MBOX file just fine but I can't seem to import it into Entourage.

From Entourage I chose IMPORT, then IMPORT INFORMATION FROM A TEXT FILE, then IMPORT MESSAGES FROM AN MBOX-FORMAT TEXT FILE, bu tthe file is dimmed and unable to be selected. Am I doing something wrong?

btw, I agree this should probably go in the HOW TO forum, but it seems that that forum can only be posted to by an admin. I wasn't really sure where to post this. MacOSX Sytem & Software?
 
I think Mail is worse in X.2 than it was in X.1. I'm hoping for an update before i bail on it.

Thanks G. Peretz, Mr Mail2Entourage worked like a charm. I am finally free !!!

I hope that Apple will make some major changes to this App soon. There were lots of things about mail that I like, and I will continue to use it at home, but it just doesn't cut it at work.
 
Anyone know of a way to get the contacts out of Address Book and back into Entourage and KEEP ALL THE INFORMATION?

I couln't figure out how to export (or drag and drop) the vCard files from Address Book without it combining them into one file that Entourage can't seperate, so I finally just dragged them one at a time and that created a seperate vCard for each contact. I could then drag them right into Entourage. Unfortunately the e-mail field dosen't carry over!!!! F-Word!

Why would Apple make it so hard to "get out" of Mail and Address Book? Seems mighty Microsoftish! BOOOO Apple ... BOOOO!
 
Yeah, we bought the Office upgrade, and the new Entourage is a better email program in my opinion! The biggest thing for me was trying to work with attachments in Mail. Kinda stupid.

Also, sound sets! I made myself a Homestar Runner sound set featuring Strong Bad and Homestar. I posted it on Sound Set Central, but as of right now it's not up yet.
