How Do I Uninstall Mac OS X?

I had a copy of the Macworld Preview Release of 10.1 on a Mac here in the office (legally obtained from Apple for some screenshots for a project) and when I attempted to install the final version of Mac OS X 10.1 (updater) today it said that that there wasn't a copy of 10 to update.

"Okay," I thought to myself, "I'll attempt to install 10.0 on top of what's currently there."

whammo! massive Kernal Panic.

What do I do now? How do I uninstall Mac OS X so I can get up and running??

help?!

If possible you should just erase the drive and do an clean install of 10.1 or 10 + 10.1 update.

Not sure of a way to uninstall easily, cept manually moving all the files to the trash but then there are always those invisible files and others that get missed...

This is what did:
I got a copy of resedit and made invisible folders & files visible and trashed them.

Anything that starts with a period like .vol, .trashes, .hidden and so on.
