How do you browse now = which is your main browser now? This poll is votable only in June.

Safari is a very good browser, Apple has been smart on this point. I think Safari's a success for them, and it did replace Chimera (now Camino) for me. I couldn't stand this new name anyway ;)

I wonder if Ed still uses iCab... ;) :)

Safari no1
Camino only when Safari doesn't succeed (Safari cannot attach a doc to a yahoo email...)
IE.... just for historical reasons
iCab, Opera, other Mozilla/Netscape derivatives... dropped.

If I could figure out how to get Safari to access my msn account it would be my main browser, but until that happens, Chimera is still #1. This is sort of a stupid requi9rement anyway, since I use Mail to check msn, but I still like to check it in a broswer every once in a while.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Later,
Eddie

Since Safari got tabs it has become my main browser. Good work Apple! :)

BUT! I will still give Camino a fair chance at every main update.

Oh, ok then - just Safari! :p

Only reason I use any other browser on my Mac now is mainly to do changes on my server using IE (Safari keeps giving me blank pages after logging in and Mozilla goes dumb) and misc (yet rare) other sites that won't work Safari. :p

I could almost say I can remove all other browsers now (except for webdesign testing). Kinda of a shame that IE has to stay tho, but thinking about it - it only does 1 job and even then it's rare that I use it! :D

s -a -f -a -r -i !
it is a great browser!
i love snapback and google search and the way it manages bookmarks.

What, I'm the only one using IE? IE 5.1 under OS 9.2.2... my sister uses IE too, my parents use Netscape 4.7x. Basically, my options are pretty limited since my dad's anal about upgrading Netscape.

Safari all the way! I only use camino if I have to (what is up with the International Herald Tribune!?!?!?!) IE only to check my website.

Gotta love them tabs!

yes - 90% of the time i have safari and icab launched and use icab about 30-40% of the time. some sites i visit look and work better with icab still. icab's abilities to control where i download files to is very handy still. believe it or not, i don't want every file on the desktop.

but i'll admit i'm not really an icab evangelist anymore. :)

And still only me for Internet Explorer. Hmm, maybe Apple's scheme is working. Now for the Windoze version of Safari... :)

Dear Mr Steve Jobs,

You should read this thread where Ed Spruiell surrenders from his hard-boiled iCab position. He now thinks different like us all, muHAHAHAHAHAHA sardonic laugh.

Propagandistically yours,
François
