I've seen screenshots on the web of people's OS X desktops and they had transparent windows in all their apps! I've scoured the web but have not been able to find out how one accomplishes this! I only know how to do it with Terminal, but would like to with my Finder windows and Internet Explorer as well. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

WindowShade X is the only way I know of doing it. One of the options is to make windows transparent. Search for it on versiontracker. It's shareware.
