i have 2 files in my trash that wont delete, but dont exist. they only show up after a reboot but when you try to click them, they disappear. how do i get rid of them permanently? every time i go to empty the trash, i get a "this operation cannot be completed because one or more required items cannot be found. (error code -43)."

any help will be greatly appreciated. this is so frustrating.

thanks.

ive been looking for something to delete these files and everything that i think might help is for 10.2+ and im only 10.1 right now.

its so annoying that im "punished" for not buying the update. i WILL be buying 10.3 however.

im impatient, haha. i went to AppleCare Support and found "sudo rm -rf ~/.Trash/" which worked. thanks for the terminal advice. :D
