how exactly DO you get the upgrade?

ok... lemme get this straight... I can either download the *.pdf file, and print it - large assumption I have a printer that works with a mac (out of seven machines, I own only one new iBook, the rest are Windows, Linux, or FreeBSD boxes) - and mail it to them, or I can e-mail it to them... but, there is NO WAY I can order the 10.1 upgrade online, anywhere?

Talk to the Apple Store. 1800-my-apple. They might be able to take phone orders, and possibly online orders. Again, checking with them is your best bet.
