how to add languages in ms word

Hi all

I have microsoft office in my mac os X, and I would like to use the spelling in french and in spanish.

How do I set the language up? when I choose a language from the Tools, Language, Set Language is does nothing

What am I missing ?

Yeah you are missing the files:
- French Spelling
- French Grammar
- French Grammar Dictionary
in the ../Shared Applications/Proofing Tools/ subfolder of Office v.X

Now I'm missing those files too, but I'm telling you, I'm having a REALLY hard time figuring out where to get them! I have a French localized system and the entire Office suite is English. Why is that ? because MS is too lazy to localize, forcing you to buy the French version... Ok I'm just ranting here.

I'm going to go to my campus bookstore today and ask about that, I'll let you know what I find.

PS You may also be missing "French Hyphenation Dictioary" but I don't think that's terribly necessary, since I assume it just defines the language's permissible hyphenation schema.

(Example: in English, you don't hyphenate across lines a word like "it's". You would hyphenate "contradiction" like "contra-diction" but not "con-tradiction". Only useful if you use auto-hyphenate document feature...)
