Hi,
i access a remote OS X server by Apple File Share.
I authenticate as a non-admin user called Job.
I am not able to access Shared directory of the remote server.
I can access it as Job if i connect via ssh.
i think it's just a problem of mount point, as Shared folder has got rw access for everyone set.

does anyone know how to change the mount point making the remote Hard disk visible?

thank you.

using either NetInfoManager.app, or niutil, whichever you are more comfortable with, create an entry in the netinfo database in the SharePoints directory of the config directory of the machine. the entry should have two properties: one is the name, and the value should be whatever you want the share to appear as. the second property should be directory_path and its value should be the path to the directory you want to share. then restart your afp server, using either SystemPreferences.app --> sharing pane.

if you need more detailed explanations of how to use these netinfo tools, we can do that.

i think there is also a third party app called sharepoints or something like that.
