may seem stupid but...
back in the day, using OS 9, I used suitcases to control my fonts and it worked for all graphics software. I also used Adobe Type Reunion so the type menus displayed the fonts in an orderly, alphabetical fashion. It worked.

Using OS X now (for a while) along with classic (for my old Quark 4 and Photoshop 6).

The problem is the lack of organized control in OS X. How do control my fonts the same way (as OS 9)? So they display in alphabetical order?

I am mainly concerned with the Macromedia MX software that I use...

I have tried to use a demo of Suitcase for os x, but I could not get it too work the same way... As well, is there Adobe Type Reunion for OS X.

Probably a simple fix (I hope). Thanks.

Apple's got some good PDFs on its site with advice on how to use Font Book.

You Control: Fonts is supposed to replicate some of Type Reunion's features. Personally, I find that most advanced graphics software like the Adobe CS apps have Type Reunion capabilities built in.

Suitcase XI is OK, but Font Book should be all you need.
