How To Create Icloud Email Address & Password

I have an iMac Retina with Sierra and an iPod Touch. Is there a way I can create an iCloud email address that is different from my Apple ID and that has a different password than is associated with my Apple ID? If so, how do I do that (either on the iMac or the iPod)? (If this is the wrong forum in which to post this question, I apologize.) Thank you.

Your iCloud and Apple ID are connected. You can have different Apple ID’s for different machines, but if you are connecting devices to your machines, the iCloud and Apple ID’s need to match. You won’t be able to sync device to iCloud or your machine if your iCloud/Apple ID do not match.
