How to force release a PC cd

I inserted a blank CD-R into the iBook to check what it was and it was a software for the PC.
Now I can not eject the cd after pressing F12.


The cd is also not letting me shut down the iBook completely. :/ If I shutdown, it stalls and not shutdown.

Try restarting holding the mouse pad down.

Hold the powerbutton for more than 5secs or press option+apple+powerbutton to restart.

Thats weird, I have never had a problem with a PC cd in my mac...

If you have a slot loading iBook there is a manual release button on the side of the cd slot that will spit the cd out, I think its the right side, use a paper clip to get at it, it shoud not require going very far into the drive, it should be almost right away.

I appreciate for all the responses. The CTrl+Command+On button restarted the iBook and I hold unto the mouse button and the cd ejected!!
