how to lock the workstation?

Besides waiting for the screensaver to kick in (and I hate the hotspots), how can I lock the workstation? I would think it should be in the Apple menu, around where restart and shutdown are. Unix workstations, as well as the WinNT variants, allow this.

Only way known to me is Log out.

There should be a lock though, I agree...
For now I use the screensaver.

Maybe a developer can make a program to do this? I'd certainly drop a note to Apple as a suggestion.
