How to make a swap partition on 10.3?

How would I go about doing this? And how big does the partition have to be?

Unless you've got minimal amounts of RAM (like less than 256MB) I would suggest not creating a swap partition. I don't think you'd see any speed boost or any less problems if you just let OS X do its own thing.

I personally wouldn't bother. I had a swap partition when using 10.0.x, and it made a little difference. But when I first installed 10.2 last year, I tried making a swap partition and it made no difference whatsoever.

If you do decide to go ahead and make a swap partition, I wouldn't make it more than 4GB as I read somewhere that is the maximum allowed size for VM.
