How to make a temp ipod case

I love apple's ipod design, like using a clear hard case over it but the disadvantage about it is you can easily make a mark that will stay there forever. i wasn't gonna take that chance when i got my ipod. so instead of buying a 50 buck non-ipod case, i made my own.

first, i used that plastic cover that came with the ipod. i took a blade and cutted a circle where the dial is located. also i made holes for the headphones. firewire port and hold button. if you're planning to do the same thing...REMEBER TO TAKE OUT THE IPOD BEFORE MAKING HOLES! take some clear tape and tape the flaps thight. and there you have it. a temp case for the ipod.

i hope this helps.

Even cheaper with less effort....

1. Purchase a deck of cards from the dollar store (50 cents).

2. Throw away the cards.

3. Insert the iPod into the card deck box.

4. There is no step 4....there is no step 4 (scratching head).

But you've got to be careful - the plastic rips really easily. You also have to cut a hole where the screen is to get rid of that 'Don't steal music' bit.
