How to move MacOSXMailDB on another volume ?

I would like to move the mail data base (/Library/AppleMailServer/MacOSXMailDB) on another volume, to be certain that massive e-mails sending will not block my server by saturating my startup volume.

Does anybody know how to do that, in a secured way ?
Will there be some problems with future upgrades of MacOS X ?...

I'm using MacOS X Server 10.1.3 on an iMac Indigo 500 MHz.

Same question for Entourage X. Is it possible to place it somewhere else than on the startup volume?
