How to open a Windows Screen Saver file

Does anyone know how to open or convert a Windows Screen Saver file (with .scr extension) with a Mac?

Not really possible, I'm afraid. The SCR format is derived from a Windows Executable (EXE) file but with a few extras. While you could run it on a PC, or even a Virtual PC, it will not convert to run on Mac OS X.

Of course there are quite a few interesting OS X screensavers out there. . .

Am I mistaken or do a lot of viri have a .scr extension... and those I'd rather not want to open!
