How to refresh a samba share

I have a linux box as a file server. Sometimes when I add a file on the linux box it doesn't show up on the client PC or Mac systems. On a PC I just hit F5 to refresh and the new file shows up.

Is there an equivalent thing I can do to convince my Mac to refresh its view of the files?

I'm not infront of a mac right now so please forgive me if I'm off on this one. But I know that linux is ctrl + r to refresh and mac is sort of built off of linux so I would try something like that. it also might be the apple key + r. If that doesn't work try right clicking empty space on the screen and see if theres a reload or refresh button

The website below has all the shortcut keys. It doesn't have refresh key, but I thought it would be a good place to post the site.
