Found a bug which id like to report to apple.

It occurs when i have an appplication running and highlighted then run apple software update form the apple menu. If i got into expose as soon as i click run software update when the update finishes looking for new software (it finds none as im up-to-date) you can see that it says new updates has been found, returning from expose it gives a new message than no updates are available to download.

Hope i explained this right so you can see if this happens for you too.

EDIT - included screenies

'you can see that it says new updates has been found' - no.

What you see ...

'New software is available for your computer

If you're not ready to install now, you can use the Software Update preference to check for updates later.
'

... is the default display of the 'Software Update.app' application ('/System/Library/CoreServices/').

Once displayed, a drop down sheet stating ...

'Checking for new software ...'

... will appear.

If, and only if, any new software (for your model Mac / MacOS X) is available, it will be listed in the window; otherwise, the drop down sheet ...

'Your software is up to date.

Software update doesn't have any new software for your computer at this time.
'

... will appear.

That's correct, barhar, but it's still, if not a bug, then stupid. The window should read something "defaulty" per default. Right now, that window is "lying" to the user, which certainly does not good UI design make.

Oh and your way of quoting still is veeeeeeeeeery hard to read.

Okay so its not a bug but like Fryke said, its stupid.

Fryke - "which certainly does not good UI design make"
How did 'make' manage to jump over to the right by three words? lol.
