In Finder when you open a new window, for some inexplicable reason OS X elects to cascade the window - that is the new window is slightly lower and to the right of the original window. This insanity is a constant irritant. It serves absolutly no purpose to stagger the windows AND you can't resize the window easily because the @#$#@ window sizer (which is in the bottom right hand corner) is hidden because its staggered/cascaded.
In a previous install of OS X 10.4 they didn't stagger/cascade though originally they did. I have no idea what I did to carry off this magical feat.
Do you know how? That it is possible, there is no doubt. Please don't respond if you don't know how.
