How to turn intro sound off

Hello

Does anybody know how to turn off ( or change ) the intro sound on Mac OS X ( the one that sounds when the mac loads.. ) I know that this might sound strange, but I kinda get annoyed by it. Cause my mac wakes me up in the mourning ( and the iTunes starts playing automaticlly using Automator ), so I don't like the first thing I hear when I wake up to be that sound.

If I'm having iTunes wake me, I don't shut down my Mac (well I never do anyhow unless I'm going away for a few days) but I just put the Mac to Sleep and that's simply avoids the Startup Chime

Try StartupSound.prefPane once installed you can turn the start up volume up and down or even mute it.
