How to upgrade complete php, apache2 and mysql?

Tech
Hi,

I was wondering how do I upgrade the apache2, php and mysql? I usually upgrade them whenever www.serverlogistics.com posts an upgrade. Well, it looks like nobody is doing anything at the site and there are upgrade versions to apache2 and mysql. I know that those packages are installed a little differently than usual.

thanks

Upgrade the PHP from Mark Liyanage's site (http://www.entropy.ch/software/macosx/php/
MySQL from the MySQL site (http://www.mysql.com)

Don't try to upgrade Apache unless you a) absolutely *have* to, or b) really know what you are doing. It causes a lot of problems

ok, mysql is installed in /Library directory instead of /usr/local/bin directory. I have quite a bit of stuff in mysql and I don't want configuration nightmares if I upgrade mysql version from 4.0.15 to 4.0.18. I installed Complete php, Complete Apache 2, and Complete MySQL. They were put into /Library directory(not my choice...the installer was setup that way).

Any reason in particular for the upgrade? 4.0.15 to 4.0.18 is pretty minor.
