Hey guys, I'm trying to understand the editing for Quick Time Pro. From what I have found out I can only edit a movie when it's in a .mov format. Well I have a number of movies I like to use that are in a .mpg format. Now I wanted to ask the best way I can change them over to .mov. So far I have tried the simple "save as" and placed them as a .mov but the "movie info" says it's still mpg so I can't edit it. Next I did a more risky name change, and re-typed it's name as a mov but then nothing would read it. So any ideas here? Thanks.
