After installing the drivers for an hp 1315 on my Intel based Mac, all printing from the machine was disabled. An error message "hppostprocessing error" appeared. How can I get printing from my Mac back?

In general: The problem is discussed in threads since years. I have three different hp devices together with Mac OS 10.4 and none of them cooperates in all features.
In detail: The problem is fixed if you do not use the driver from the CD you got with the printer but download and install the driver from Hewlett-Packard via internet.
