hp LaserJet 1022 Compatibility with Tiger 10.4

Greetings,

I would like to buy a hp LaserJet 1022 Printer. I use an iBook (1.42GHz PowerPC G4) with Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger. I have heard that there may be some compatability problems in using the HP LaserJet 1022 Printer with Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger. Is this true? is the HP LaserJet 1022 Printer compatable with Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger?

I just bought an HP Laserjet 1022 last week and it works great. I am running 10.4.2 on my PowerMac G4 and it is 100% compatible. It comes with a driver CD, so all I did was install the driver and followed the instructions that came in the box. It is extremely fast too, first page out in 7 seconds. I am glad I ditched my Epson Stylus 740 printer.

The HP 1020 is the printer that is not OSX compatible, but the 1022 is OSX compatible.

I bought it from the HP site and it was $179 because of an instant $20 off. It might be back up to $199 now, I'm not sure. Check out Newegg or Hot Deals Club for coupon codes, it can save you alot of money.
