hp laserjet 1320 and mac OS 4.11

My printer worked with my PC. I used the CD to load the printer on my Mac. According to my computer, the printer is waiting to print and, according to my printer, the green light is on and nothing is happening.
I'm not sure where to go from here.

The driver for that printer is included in OS X 10.4. Did you try that before installing from CD? You may have installed an older driver.
Because that printer uses both postscript and PCL 5/6 (HP's page description language), you should be able to print using generic postscript and HP Laserjet 6 Series drivers.
The printer is connected by USB to the Mac, right?
