HP LP3065c 2560x1600 only displays 1280 x 800 on Mac Mini

I have a Mac Mini 1.66 Core Duo running OSX 10.5.

I know it doesn't provide support for 2560x1600 but it does for 1920 x 1600 resolution.

The problem is, it only shows up as 1280 x 800.

Is there any way to FORCE the monitor into displaying at 1920 x 1600? Do I have ANY options above the paltry 1280 x 800?
 
No, your 30-inch display requires a dual-link DVI video output, and the mini can't do that. So, you get one-half of the resolution that the display can accept. There's no way to force your video output to do something it is not capable of doing.
Right now, the upper size limit for use with your mini to get what you want is about 24-inch. Most displays in that size range do not need the dual-link connection.
