Hp Officejet G55

Hi

I have a lot of problems with getting a Hewlett packard officejet G55 to work in Jaguar. I read some related posts after a search but couldn't find a solution.

I installed the software and all goes well till I want to add a printer to the printerlist in printcenter. I get an errorcode -1

Well I guess from reading previous posts that hp isn't up to date. Did anyone get this setup to work?

Just got a HP psc 2210 and installed the OSX driver, selected the printer but it will not print.
When i use the HP program i can make testprints.

Does anyone know what to do?

I have a G85 AIO at work and HP's drivers suck. So i installed gimp-print (fount on versiontracker) and go it to work. If you wanna try it out let me know. I'll give you my settings.

well, fine!

But how do you guys SCANNING wiht HP office Jets?

I just get errors... not more. (since 2 years and dozens of versions of hp-drivers)...
 
hp was coding the worst drivers in the whole world ever!

I wonder, how they have gotten such high shareholder-value! (god thanks its not mine! :)
