HP printers and 10.2.2 - a solution?

Has anyone of you heard of the new HPIJS (footmatic) printer drivers which supposedly replace HP drivers for more than 200 HP printer models?

I have downloaded the drivers from

and installed them successfully, but I cannot get the drivers to work. What must I do? I have a HP AIO printer (PSC 950) which seems to slow down 10.2.2 significantly. I need a very detailed instruction on how to replace the HP driver by the new footmatic driver! Please, help.. :)
 
Try gimp-print (look on versiontracker.com)

I've tried HPIJS and don't have a clue how it works.

I download Gimp-Print and GhostScript for Jaguar and they made an old HP LaserJet 4MV work. HP hasn't updated those drivers in a year so I'm assuming they probably work for 10.1.X
