Have you been able to find a way to install this printer?!
I've spoken to HP phone support,
they said the software shipped with the HP PSC 1510 was released "BEFORE" OS X 10.4 TIGER was released. this rendering the scanning function useless until they release the updated software.
You're still able to use the printing function though.
SERIOUSLY a major pain in the arse.
