I have a mac g4 with both system 9 & 10
I have a Hewlart & Packard scanjet 5470c
I installed the new driver from the hp website into the applications in system 10
I had it working for awhile but now it unexpectedly quits
or says won't initialize
the usb connection in the apple system profiler shows up in system 10 but does not show up in system 9
The scanner is also showing 2 copies of hp scanner stuff in the Apple System Profiler in system 9
I uninstalled it hoping it would help and reinstalled it, that didn't fix the problem. now I have extra hp stuff scatterred about in the system folder the did not uninstall when I uninstalled because the computer said they were in use
