HP2800dtn compatible with Classic?

Hi,

I'm trying to find out if a HP2800dtn inkjet printer is compatible with Classic / OS9 applications (Quark Xpress 4 / Illustrator 9). I'm running a G4 with Panther.
Although HP2800 datasheet doesn't list the OS9 / Classic, there are driver (ppd?) for OS9 and the printer offers "PostScript 3 emulation".

How can give me any answer / advise?

It isn't that i wouldn't take "yes" for an answer, but my reseller isn't that sure. So i'm in doubt and before i buy something, i want to be sure, thats all.

Maybe there's someone how uses such a combination of hard- en software and williing to tell his/her experiences...
