I bought an iMac in 2007 and was sold an hpPhotosmart C4180 at the local Apple store even though I told the salesman I have a home network with Airport Extreme.
I discovered that the C4180 is not networkable (from HP). I can print wirelessly from my iBook G4 but I cannot print wirelesssly from the newer iMac Intel core duo. I've been told at the local Genius Bar that networking and wireless printing from both can be done if I hire a tech to come to my home to set it up. Is there any way I might accomplish this without paying a tech?
I'm using Tiger 10.4.11 on the iBook G4 and Leopard 10.5x on the iMac.
