I've been building various slackpackages (checkinstall -S) for my won convenience and have compiled quite a nice archive. Well, having just watched Revolution OS, i decided to host them on my site.
I've got all my sources on my LAN fileserver and decided to just make a symlink:
ln -s /mnt/sources/slackpackages /var/www/htdocs/mirror/slackpkg
Despite /var/sources/slackpackages (on my fileserver) permissions being root:root drwxr-xr-x I still get a 403 when I hit the folder. The symlink also doesn't appear as a folder in /mirror/ from a web browser (which means I've done something wrong somewhere...)
It's httpd 1.3.33 by the way.
Ideas ?
