i book g4 harddrive

Hi / I need a new hard drive for my I book g4 after contacting apple for a price I decided to undertake the job my self will all 2.5 ATA-100 drives fit ive noticed they have different Connector sizes many thanks
 
Have you seen what the iBook hard drive replacement entails? It's definitely not a process for the faint of heart. (search the forums an ye will see many discussions on this topic)

There are some companies who do it for a fee which is a bit cheaper than Apple's. Usually for about $50 to $125 more than what the parts cost.



 
I feel quite confident the drive failed 6 months ago I took it out to make sure I was able to replace the drive .i can now afford a new and need to know if all 2.5 drives will fit
