I can not get iTunes to run! anybody...

hi,
after installing iTunes, I got it to run only ones.
Most of the time it does not start and crashes straight away!
Reinstalling doesnt seem to help.
Anybody else had/has this problem?

Yep same problem.

I think its got something to do with the crappy umax scanner drivers or the crappy epson dirvers.

I've got a AGP G4 450 256MB what's your set up? anything in common?

hi,
After removing conflict catcher it seems to work fine...
I have started it and started it since then with no problems
while before i made it trough the setup once and actually started
it once before it completely failed.

CC would have been too easy...
It seems to be in the scanner software as you suggested.
Namely the controlstrip module 'VSControlStrip' from Umax Vistascan
software.
If active no iTunes, if disabled yes iTunes.
(it got disabled somehow during the removal of CC, thats why
i tought it was CC)

do you have this module as well?
