I cant right click on my optical mouse

Hi, I unplugged my eMac G4 for a couple hours. When I turned it back on, my Microsoft Intellipoint optical mouse doesnt want to right-click. Everything else works including the scroll wheel. Even pressing Ctrl-Click works. Just the right click button doesnt work. Is this a technical problem or is it just my mouse? (I had put my mouse and some other items in a dry, empty cooler for that time)

As far as I know, OS X should be able to find and make the Microsoft Intellipoint work perfectly.

Sounds to me like you have a broken mouse on your hands, unless someone else has a better answer.

Do you have another two-button mouse you could temporarily use and see if that one exhibits the same problem?

Is your mouse programmable, and have you tried re-setting that button from the set-up menu?
