I just got two system crashes in a ROW

The Lone Deranger
I just rebooted my iMac for the second time after getting a system crash (the grey box on the screen that says, "You need to restart your computer..."). After I held the power button, and turned it back on, this message popped up AGAIN, but this time while it was still on the white screen.

Two system crashes... in a row?
-once while using the computer
-again while restarting it

Why did this happen twice? Overall I've noticed my iMac has been sluggish since installing Snow Leopard.

UPDATE:
It JUST HAPPENED AGAIN! I realized it happens whenever I plug in my Line6 TonePort (which is a USB device which switches the audio to go to my speakers via 1/4" outputs). I don't understand why THIS is suddenly causing the problem, it's been working fine for the last 2 years.

Just to be clear, Mario--and I thought you were a new user----you did not give any information to "solve" the problem.

Glad it was fixed though :)

Going from PPC to Intel or 10.2 to 10.3 and the driver has not been updated (the OS X database is constantly updating, sometimes drastically) from one OS X version to another. Sometimes even changing hard after a big security OS X download update.

So stop being on the bleeding edge and let others across the net be your beta testers. Like in the case for the Snow Leopard Wiki Spotand Accelerate Your Macintosh reader reports.
