I just installed -- any ideas on how to optimize?

From the very beginning of OS 6, I have been editing my system folder. One of the items that I really dislike using is the Speech. How can I remove them and other options from the computer so that they do not load?

 
Go in OSX install drive and look for
/system/library/

look around ...

and you 'll find a folder called extension too

P.S. remove elements you re SURE aren't used by your OS ... but don't DELETE THEM!!! So if you get in error you can easily repair.
 
You may have noticed that when you first use speech (after any new startup/login), you get some HD access. My guess is that speech is not loaded until it is used. If thats the case, don't worry about it, just don't use it.
