I lost my @ key in X11 after 10.1.1

I seem to have lost my @ key in X11 after upgrading to 10.1.1. this makes it difficult to use ssh especially. Does anyone know how to make this come back.

specifics

PB firewire 2000

in xterm the @ is a ,
in eterm the @ gives a bell

Just noticed that myself...apparently, it's a known problem (details are available ), but basically, run

xmodmap -e "keycode 27=2 at currency currency"

manually or in your .xinitrc.
