I mail Crashing

I stupidly tried to send an e-mail with an attachment that was 300 mb, I realised and tried to stop and delete the e-mail. I mail copied them to the trash, so I tried to delete it there, as it was slowing down almost to a stop. Then when I reopened I mail it saids its indexing the (eddie) e-mail, which is supposed to be deleted but reappears in trash and then eventually crashes. Is this a problem with the database being corrupted ????

Hi and welcome to the forum

I guess that by I mail U mean Mail.app if so check the preferences under account then go to advanced and try the remove now button. It might well be that your account with you ISP's server is full with the mail u tried to delete.

BTW this apply to X.3.9 and mail 1.3.11 if you are running tiger it might not apply ....
