I Need a Video converter

Hello all I am looking for a video converter I have some h.264 and other mpeg4 videos that I want to turn into wmv for some friends who are behind the times. Thanks

the best thing is to have them install qt on their computers. i have never had much luck with converters. and qt7 is out for windows. if they arn't in the world of win xp or os x, then you just need to have them come over to your place to see this stuff.

You don't even need QuickTime to view mp4/H.264 videos on Windows. You just need to either A) Download appripriate players (like VLC) or B) download appropriate codec packs for WMP (don't know off the top of my head, but I could find links if necessary).

I'm not aware of any cheap/free ways to convert video to WMV on the Mac.

not a big deal, it is just that this is for their work computers and they can't install anything on. thanks anyway

If it is for windows users I suggest Super http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html
a very nice software (freeware) Based on Open source softwares like MPEG stream clip and others. As for mac, I suggest http://www.brothersoft.com/leawo-free-mac-video-converter-221177.html (free). You can also try MPEG converter for mac if you want a .mov output.
I must say that shareware video converters are much better (cost about 29 to 60 $).
But if you look well, you can find exactly what you want...
