Please i need your help!!!!
I have a PB Ti 500 and i am experiiencing some severe difficulty with the ethernet.
I am using the ethernet port to connect directly to a DHCP modem. I know for sure the modem works as it is ok under Linux,Windows and on my new quicksilver.
I am running MAC OS X 10.1.1 only(no mac os 9). Until about 1 week ago the connection was working great. Then something really weird happend, the next day i went to check my email and it said that it could not connect to the server. I tried all applications using the intenet nothing happend. Softaare update was not working. I decided to check the settings out and i did not see any problems there either. Then as a last resort i clean installed mac os x.1 again nothing. I phoned the apple support line and guess what they told me what i already knew and that they are escalating the case. It does not work either under MAC OS X or MAC OS 9.1. I have tried everything and it is really getting on my nerves. Please i need your help.
Something funny :
The apple technician asked me if i was using my modem port after i told him i was downloading at 140 before this happend........
Any help will be greatly appreciated people. Thank you
