I put it up only for a few hours as a test.
I set up the Darwin streaming server on a PeeCee running windows. Its the only computer I have available that does nothing all my macs are in use lol.
I had to install perl to use it but I administered it using my desktop mac...it was cool. Once I get some content going, perhaps I will start using QT MP3 streaming as an option on my web site on the next update. Now I need an apache server for windows to get my web site up, as an expewriment to see if having my own server on uni premises is a viable (free) alternative to yahoo.
how about u guys ? anyone else set up.using stgreaming servers ? if so, what ? real ? QT ? windows media?
