I think M$ hacked Darwin!

Hack the Planet!@#
I'm sure all of you know the fun little trick in Terminal when you type "Bill Gates" it asks "OK? kill gates?" but the problem comes in when you respond "yes" and it responds back "kill: Arguments should be jobs or process id's." Notice the JOBS in what IT tells you it SHOULD be! Coincidence? I think not! Some weasel from M$ obviously hacked Darwin, what else could explain such an atrocity?! :D

You wanna know why?

tcsh has a built in spell checker, and it thinks that bill should be kill, because kill is a command. When you press y, the kill command complains because it wants a process, not a name.

This trick is old as the hills, but it is still FUNNY!!!!

btw: when you enter "man why did you get divorced" in a unix build, it answered "man: too many arguments".

or "make love" under Linux ;)

Or even better, try "rm god" or "at god" under Linux. I think we now know if Linus believes in god ;)

And, the alltime favourite on Unix, just enter "How would you rate Qualey's incompetence?" in the command line ;)

I love such easter eggs.

BTW easter eggs: you all know what is "carved" into the G4 processor, don't you!

Or what pops up on EVERY mac directly after startup when you attach a logic analyzer to the EPROM. It is removed the very same instant as soon as the Mac does anything, like booting...but it's fun nontheless (allthough i have to admit I never checked it. I have a logic analyzer, but I won't use it on my expensive G4 ;)
