I was copying between hard drives and copying froze. How do I force quit the copy?

Hello everyone. I'm pretty new to Macs. I was copying data (30+Gig) from two USB2.0 Hard Drives and somewhere on the 18th hour the copy window just froze. I tried to force quit but do not know which window to close. Unlike the PC I can directly CTRL-ALT-DEL any window. Macs don't seem to have that capacity (forgive my ignorance) Any suggestions? Thanks a lot.
 
Command-Option-Esc is the same as Control-Alt-Delete on the Macs. Although I'm not quite sure if you can stop the coying that way, but I could be wrong. :)
