well, my copy of leopard should be arriving at my door any day now and i know inside leopard is - time machine. Now should i keep ibackup for when i get an external hard drive and go to time machine or should i use ibackup.
Also, some of you may think this is a weird question but if i decide to use ibackup, should i still keep time machine in the dock? its seems stupid ive seen the guide, if i loose a certain file i open up time machine from the dock and just search back, so its nice and handy in my dock. help please :p

As far as I see around me (french forums) .. I do not have Leo... TimeMachine is very powerfull.

However, in the 10.5.1 or older release of Leo, TimeMachine is very slow with certain brands of external USB2 drive

... and very..really very, very.. slow on USB2 'myBook' WesternDigital drive.
On this drive, one fellow took a complete night for copying 50GB during the first TimeMachine initial copy !!!!!!!
Another one, on a LaCie d2 Quadra (Fiewire400) external drive, the initial copy of a 120G bunch of data went under the 3hours

So whatever iSteve said: Firewire is still better on Mac than USB2 !
